Summer for me typically means hibernation indoors from the heat. Hibernating means having time to experiment a bit, and that is just what I did today. I have had the idea of creating moving aka video style color palettes for a little while now ( if you like it and want to see more, let me know). Having recently done a project with Sunflowers, I have them on the brain and therefore felt the need to create a color palette based on their beauty.
Sunflowers are more than just a pretty flower. They signify happiness, vitality, intelligence, adoration, luck and longevity. Use them on your summer papercraft projects but also consider using them to tell other stories in which their symbolism can add a subtle but deeper meaning.
Don’t have any sunflowers in your stash? Check out this tutorial in which I show you how to make your own dimensional watercolor sunflowers.
