Journaling Matters. Story does too. Though sometimes I find myself telling the same basic stories over and over again. I want to find a way to boost my storytelling. Perhaps a way to link older stories with new ones. I find that I am often more focused on doing just that when I take a class. As luck would have it, Get It Scrapped is offering a new class in November called Curated Albums that will offer me that boost.Add to the mix my big pile of layouts just waiting to be filed into albums. I have tons of albums partially full or empty, just waiting to be filled with memories.This class will help me reevaluate each layout and where I might like to place them in my albums to tell the most effective story. I can curate not just my albums but also photos yet to be scrapped. I plan to organize as I search for the stories I want to develop. Doing so will add deeper meaning to photos who have not yet made it onto a layout.
Class begins on November 4th. Personally, I know I have some plans in November that are not necessarily conducive to sitting down to take a class. Not to worry though. The nice thing about Curated Albums is that it can be done on your own time. There are no deadlines, only content and encouragement. I will be sharing my progress on the blog during November.
