Sometimes I start things and I don’t quite finish them. Typically, I am pretty good about starting and finishing scrapbook layouts. I have whittled my hobbies down to just a few that I love. Otherwise, I would have a pile of unfinished bead projects and half embroidered sewing kits.Classes are another issue altogether. I have a willingness and a desire to learn something new.I start off with great enthusiasm and then, somewhere along the way, life happens. When it does, I get sidetracked and later find that I have lost interest in the class. So many times I lament that I want to go back and finish a class that I started. I am just not always organized enough to do so.

1A few years ago, I had this same issue when it came to organizing my creative space. I signed up for Simple Scrapper and participated in Stash Bash. For once, I made some progress. A little progress turned into another step completed and before I knew it, my space began to look a bit better. I had a game plan and I felt like I was making progress. I learned what I needed to do to make organizing my space achievable. Now that same thought process can be applied to some of those classes and projects I took on through a new class called the Finishing Project.

The wonderful thing about this class is that it can be adapted to each individual. My goals will be to choose a scrapbooking class or two and take the steps to finish the layouts for the class. My hope is to also make the time to download all of my Big Picture Scrapbooking classes that won’t be transferring to their new site. Both are tasks I have put off due to my busy schedule or just because there seems to be an overwhelming amount of work to do. The Finishing Project has a set of tools ready for me to use to accomplish those goals. It’s also an added bonus for me to have group accountability and support. Something I always find at Simple Scrapper.

What projects or tasks would you choose to complete with the Finishing Project?
