Over the years, I have been a student of Get It Scrapped and the Masterful Scrapbook Design series. I have learned more about myself. I have grown and seen myself mature into a confident memory keeper. Though much of it centers around how much I have learned about design, the majority of that confidence centers around defining my own style. Knowing who I am and how I work through my own creative process has given me the ability to create more pages in less time. These are not just slapped together layouts. These are pages I have made with a great deal of thought involved. Pages that tell my story and that I find visually appealing.
Though I do find myself to be a confident scrapbooker, I also know that taking a time out to re-examine myself and my work can be a good thing. There is always something new to learn. This week, I will once again be participating in Style is Leverage. This 5 day event will help you take a look inward, examine your work and help you to define who you are as a memory keeper. The event is comprised of live events, informative PDF’s and a series of videos. I plan to attend a few of the live events myself but I know that some might not work with my schedule. No worries. The recordings will be available to watch later when it’s convenient.
