After an unintentional hiatus, I am back with prompt 12! We had a few issues on the back end of the blog as we upgraded a few things. It was of course, “wonderful timing”. At the same time as I was dealing with the blog, my son and I were meeting with his adviser and prepping for his final year of high school. It was a little nerve wracking at times but I am so relieved we didn’t lose any content. I am more than ready to relax a bit and get back to my art journal.
Prompt 12 asks us to work with one of my favorite things: coffee! I learned a bit about using it as an art medium and I ended up with a great smelling art journal. My art journal was basted, soaked and finally dipped in coffee like and Easter Egg. You can see the complete process in this video:

I still have a lot to learn about using coffee as a medium in my art journal. I can however, check off dipping my art journal in coffee off my artistic bucket list. Now it’s your turn. Dip your art journal in coffee or tea then share a link to your project in the comments below. For more inspiration, search for #thestencilfiedjournal or check out Tina Walker’s take on the prompt.
