A few months ago, I was invited to do a post for the Stencilgirl© blog. As it often happens, one idea leads to another. I asked if they would like another blog post from me but this time, I chose to work with ceramics. It’s been ages since I have worked with green ware. The last time I did was way back in middle school during the late 80’s. I had a few ideas about how I wanted to use the stencils and I wanted to experiment on my own rather than look up video tutorials. Doing things my own way first helps me to explore the challenges of working with a set of supplies while developing my own workarounds. Sure there might be easier ways to do things. However, those methods may not offer the chance to discover a happy accident or new way of doing things.
Are you ready to see how I approached working with stencils and ceramics? Pop over to the Stencilgirl© blog to check out the finished pieces and my video tutorial.
