Growing up in Florida meant winters without snow and visits from Northern family members. We called them Snowbirds for they came every season without fail. Some owned homes where they would reside all winter, returning only when the weather warmed and the snow had melted.

Though I currently live in a warm climate, we don’t have the snowbirds I encountered as a child. Just temporary tourists hoping to catch a few rays of warmth from a tropical sun. Meanwhile, I am left to imagine colder climates.

ColorFormula2-MyScrapbookEvolutionWherever you live, at some point in the season you might have a few winter visitors. Maybe it’s  a relative looking to see snow for the first time or even a tiny bird perched on a fence post. Who are your winter guests? Do they visit every year? Have you documented their adventures?
