It’s time for the next ingredient! If you are just finding out about this art collaboration, head over here to find ingredient one.
When ingredient 7 was posted, I had to stop and think a bit. We were asked to add the color red to our projects. I had already added red when I put the arrows on the page. How would I add more red without overwhelming the page elements already present?

I decided to add in a few small clusters of red dots. I utilized a fine liner pen. I added the dots in small groupings to create a subtle visual triangle. They also help add more weight to the larger clusters that they are a part of. Once again, this was a prompt that could be simple or complex. Keeping it simple was best for me at this point. It allowed me to add an element without overwhelming the page. I felt quite exhausted again. Adding something simple meant I could still complete something and get the rest I needed. Looking back, I can clearly see how tired I was in the photos I took of the page. Sorry that they are blurry.
Tina has her post up as well. You can see what she added to her page for Ingredient #7 here.
