Welcome to the (It’s all in) My Details Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Michelle’s Blog. If this is your first stop, you may want to head over to Megan’s blog so you don’t miss anything along the way.
There isn’t always a whole lot about just me in my memory keeping. Part of that is because my favorite subject is my husband and my son, followed closely behind by my cats. My family in many ways defines me. I have built my life around them and enjoy spending so much time with them. However,it wouldn’t be completely fair to my son if I didn’t include a little more of me in my albums. He has so many questions about what my life was like before he was born. So when Kristin and Megan mentioned they had a new class which would help me cover that topic, I signed myself up.
Today we’re focusing on thinking. What am I thinking about right now? I haven’t mentioned it before, but I did choose a word for this year. The word is Happen. I want to make things happen, enjoy them while they are occurring and look forward to new happenings in the future.
Enjoy Today. What Will Happen and What Transpired by Christy Strickler |Supplies Pocket Cards: Studio Calico, We R Memory Keepers, My Mind’s Eye; Letters: Studio Calico, American Crafts, Sassafrass, My Little Shoebox; Acrylic: Freckled Fawn
I decided to create a Project Life spread with my word and a collection of inspirational quotes. I wrote about the things I am lucky to have and my thoughts about my word.
I know it’s important to include more about myself in my memory keeping. It’s not always my favorite thing to do. This class is sure making it fun and a whole lot easier for me.
Thank you for stopping by. Now it’s time for you to hop on. You next stop is Amanda’s Blog.
