Would you like your creative space decor to fit your mood? I know I would. Sometimes my space just feels a little bit dull and I want to be able to freshen it up a bit. Decorating with both practicality and panache are possible with the choice of the right items. My dry erase board definitely fits into both categories with ease. Last August, I created a fall themed dry erase board from a Deflecto wall mount sign. I can’t easily change the furniture in my creative space, but I can update the sign each season to give my space a little freshening up.
I use the sign to keep track of creative goals, website maintenance and design team due dates. The dry erase marker comes off of the sign easily with a little bit of glass cleaner or baby wipes. Both the binder clips and ribbon can be changed out to match your chosen supplies.I keep the binder clips facing upward and use them to hold one of the dry erase pens. That way a pen is always easily within reach.
The nice thing about this sign is that you can store multiple sheets inside it. The key is to keep each decorated sheet relatively flat. Notice how I just used washi tape, ribbon, a die cut and a tag as embellishments. If the paper is double sided, you can decorate both sides and flip them at will.
When you decorate your space, some items will always remain a constant( due to cost or size). Small items like this DIY dry erase board are perfect if you want to give the room a little pick me up.
