Lab Exercise 15: Wing Detail

When my son was small, he was a constant blur of motion. If he wasn’t running around the backyard, he was swinging or climbing. So the mere fact that he was still long enough for a dragonfly to land on him is simply amazing. Not to mention the fact that both he and the dragonfly were still long enough for me to to snap several photos.

This was a chance for me to use a busy floral print. It also meant the rest of the layout needed to be simple with lots of impact. I chose to bracket the photos with the golden butterfly wings. This is a special moment and gold helps to convey that.

Lab Exercise 15

My design is relatively simple and can be put together in less than 30 minutes. If you choose a busy background paper, use less embellishments.
