Happy National Scrapbook Day 2016! If you are here then it’s highly probably that you are as obsessed with scrapbooking as I am. Telling my family’s story is something that I enjoy. Each part of the process can be very fulfilling. Whether it be taking photos or getting the stories down on the page, this wonderful hobby has a lot to offer. Every year on the first Saturday in May, we come together as memory keepers to celebrate this wonderful hobby. We join our friends in crops worldwide. We set goals to complete more pages, enjoy a few challenges and overall just to have fun. Sharing is one of the things I love the most about this hobby. It’s not just about sharing completed pages. It’s also a great joy for me to share some of my process with you. Today I am happy to be joining in with a wonderful group of bloggers and scrapbookers. We have a lot of great inspiration to help get you motivated and excited for National Scrapbook Day. Make sure to visit each stop on the blog hop. You’ll find links with the full list of participants located below my project. As you visit each stop, be sure to leave a comment so that you can get in on the giveaway!
One of my challenges as a scrapbooker is accumulating supplies. It’s so hard to resist all the cute things we have available to us. I have quite a few 6×6 paper pads in my stash and I have resolved to use up what I have. On this layout, I chose to cut apart my 6×6 papers so that I could form strategic layers on my scrapbook page.

Thank you, Carla. I love my 6×6 paper pads. Almost too much!
Good idea! I don’t tend to use 6″ x 6″ papers on much besides mini albums and cards.
I am not much into mini albums or cards which might be why I have so many paper pads!
