It’s been about year since my friend Jen moved with her family to Italy. I was very excited for her. Italy is a dream destination. She was excited too, but we were also a bit sad. We became friends due to a few mutual interests. We met through our local homeschool group and quickly discovered we both liked scrapbooking. She had a son around the same age as mine who shared a lot of the same interests as my son. It made it easy for us to get together to crop. For months, we have been trying to sort out a way to craft and collaborate together. Thankfully, social media has shortened the distance a bit. Since we both have Youtube channels, we decided to create a video collaboration of sorts. We’ll be sharing stories from our scrapbook albums, pocket pages and traveler’s notebooks( I don’t have one of these yet, but Jen tells me I really need one).

For January, we decided to keep it simple. I chose to document a page for the month of January. Specifically, I created a pocket page about our family’s visit to Ferrari World in 2016 for Winterfest.
