A little while back,I participated in a One Kit Two ways challenge at OScraps as a member of the Creative Team. I worked with a kit called Coexistence. The theme of the kit is one that embodies unity and understanding. It was perfect for a quick hybrid art journal layout. (You can view the challenge at the OScraps blog along with my fellow Creative Team member, Jana Oliveira’s submission.)

The Coexistence kit is quite apropos when it comes to the current political environment that exists in our world right now. You can use the kit to make a statement about how you feel or use it to document current events. I chose to create a page which centers around my hope for unity.

I got a little carried away with the ink and at first felt that I had overdone it a bit. In the end, I think the way the ink spreads across the page adds a more unified feel to the page. Though we did the challenge a little while ago, we always welcome seeing new projects. If you create a project with the Coexistence kit, be sure to drop by the original post at Oscraps to share a link to your creation.
