Organization is a fickle thing! Sometimes you know exactly how you want to keep everything organized but it doesn’t stay that way. That’s exactly where I am this month. It would seem that my phone has decided to save double copies or every image on it within my dropbox. This has quickly led to an overstuffed box and a need to delete a lot of duplicate images. I guess you could say it’s a good time for Simple Scrapper’s Photo Crush Challenge!
The Photo Crush Challenge is a FREE event which is designed to help you organize your photos.
The 7 day challenge is perfect for anyone who feels their photo library is in complete disarray or for those who have a targeted area of their photo library they need to work on. You might recognize the name of the challenge. This isn’t my first time taking it on and I have written about it briefly on MSE.
My goals this time around center on checking all of my photo backups( I have two external hard drives and an older laptop) to make sure all are in sync and to deal with the duplicate issue in drop box. I will be deleting a lot of photos from drop box and my phone while ensuring clean copies of the phone’s pictures are transferred to my back ups.
What are your photo organization goals?
If you don’t have any or don’t know where to start, that’s ok. Jennifer does an excellent job of giving you an idea of where to begin. You can also ask questions and get advice in the Photo Crush Challenge group. If you aren’t familiar with Jennifer Wilson and Simple Scrapper, this is a great opportunity to get to know her and the Simple Scrapper community. I met Jennifer through Simple Scrapper. I joined the membership and later joined( and am currently on) the Simple Scrapper Creative Team. Her teaching style and advice help you get organized, feel confident and make the most of your time.
Probably something I so need to do – as I just spent a half hour looking for a photo I took on a recent trip. LOL! But now that I’m retired – “organization” is not in my vocabulary! Sounds like a fun challenge, though. Bloggie Love
I wish my husband was retired. Then I could be retired. LOL We still have quite a lot of time before that though. Every once in awhile, I have to organize. If I don’t, things get out of hand and I go crazy!
